What to Expect
Clinic Hours:
Call (801) 374-5677 between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm to schedule appointments.
Appointments are scheduled between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm Monday through Friday.
Initial visits:
New patients should plan to arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled appointment. This will allow enough time for you to complete the intake paperwork and give the staff time to create a file for you. If you have downloaded the intake forms, please have it completed before you arrive.
Have specific questions written down before your visit. For complex conditions, plan at least one hour with the doctor.
Colonic patients will need to see the doctor prior to their initial appointment to screen for possible complications.
Appointments with Dr Wright: What can I expect?
Your visit will consist of a comprehensive health history, appropriate diagnostic testing including physical exam, and other testing as needed. The result is an open and accessible relationship with your doctor and an individualized treatment plan that will be continuously modified to address changing conditions and needs.
Appointments with MSAS testers: What can I expect?
Your visit will consist extensive screening using a biofeedback device. This initial screening can take as long as two hours. The goal is to help you understand why health problems occur as well as narrow down treatments and therapies to help you get better. Some follow-up appointments with

Staff Bios:

Dr. Jeffrey Wright, a Naturopathic Doctor (ND), attended Weber State University where he completed undergraduate studies in Communications. He earned his medical degree from the National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon. He is the medical director at Utah Valley Health Clinic (UVHC) in Provo, Utah.
Dr Wright prefers to use natural therapies over pharmaceutical medications when possible. His practice encompasses clinical nutrition, herbs, homeopathy, physical medicine, physical therapy, natural child birth, IV therapy, drugs, and minor surgery. He specializes in allergies, chronic fatigue, hypothyroidism, depression, anxiety, and chemical sensitivity.
Doctor Wright is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, Utah Association of Naturopathic Physicians, and Institute for Functional Medicine. He also serves as the Chairman of the Utah State Naturopathic Licensing Board, and is a member of the Utah State Naturopathic Formulary Board.

Julie Davis is a nutritionist who has been working at UVHC since its inception. She received her bachelor degree from Brigham Young University in Food science and nutrition. When her daughter was diagnosed with mono and told that she would be sick for nine months to one year, Julie decided to look into alternatives. She discovered homeopathy and her daughter recovered in a matter of weeks. She then learned to do electro-dermal screening and worked testing people for ten years. She has been working with Doctor Wright and others at UVHC since 2003.
