Cancellations, Payment & Insurance

Cancellations: We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment please call at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule. Late cancellations and missed appointments will be billed $50. We understand that emergencies occur and therefore we will make exceptions in extreme circumstances.

Payment: Payment is expected at the time of service. We accept cash, personal checks, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.

Insurance: UVHC does not bill insurance.

Most insurance providers in Utah do not cover for services by naturopathic doctors. Dr. Wright is not contracted with any insurance companies and cannot accept insurance. Your insurance policy is a contract between you and your insurance company.

If you have contacted your insurance company and they will reimburse you we will be happy to provide a superbill. Medicare and Medicaid will not reimburse for naturopathic medical care or anything ordered by a naturopathic physician.

Laboratory testing done at covered facilities is often covered according to your individual benefits and may be billed through the laboratory.

Fees

Dr. Wright: $110 Initial consultation

Meridian Stress Assessment – The initial appointment is $120 and lasts between 1 ½ - 2 hours. 

• Follow-up visits are $30 for ½ hour and $60 for 1 hour.
• Homeopathic bottles are $15 each.  You receive three homeopathic bottles at your initial visit.  
• Family Discount: After one adult member of the family has been tested and charged full price, additional members of your immediate family who are still living at home may be tested at a discounted rate. The initial fee is waived and the appointments are billed at $60 per hour.

Ion Cleanse: $40 per hour

Intravenous Micronutrient Therapy: $12-17 injection; $55 Push; $95 Bag, plus $10 to $30 for additional supplements if needed.

Constitutional Hydrotherapy: $35 alternating hot and cold applications can increase circulation and speed healing.

Hemorrhoid treatment: $75 initial exam; $85 per hemorrhoid.

ThyroFlex $30
